Below is a sample skillset for a 240-300 skill point Deadeye build suitable for starter-level Raids. We will cover specific PvE, PvP, Leveling and endgame build guides in our more advanced Deadeye build guide.

The Wardancer has applicable builds for both PvE and PvP, although she is typically more common as a PvP class. However, PvP is usually determined by a set template, so we've outlined a very simple skill build for the Wardancer below to give you an idea of what your build might end up looking like. We will go into more detail about abilities, leveling order, and runes in our best Wardancer build guides.

The debate about whether to play Deadeye, Sharpshooter, or Gunslinger rages on in the Lost Ark community. This class overview is designed to give you a better idea of what exactly Deadeye is, and what the class does best.

The Deadeye is all about hitting back attacks with his Shotgun for big crit damage and then rotating out with Pistol and Rifle abilities. The skill build below requires 260 points , though you can mix and match depending on how many skill points you have available.

A Guardian Raid is an endgame activity where up to four players work together to take down a Guardian boss. Players have 20 minutes to find and kill the Guardian, and each Guardian boss comes with unique mechanics. This is one of Lost Ark's daily endgame activities, much in the same vein as Chaos Dungeons .

This is a sample set of Sharpshooter skills for a build that uses the Death Strike class Engraving. So think of it as a big burst, high critical damage. We will go into more detail in specific builds for the Sharpshooter when there is a more accurate overview of the NA/EU pa

Guardian Raids allow you to harvest a Guardian's soul upon completing, granting you a shower of loot. You can only harvest a Guardian's soul twice per day per character. Similar to Chaos Dungeons, it's possible to farm Guardian Raids more than twice per day, but your subsequent clears won't give as much loot unit the weekly reset.

Welcome to the Sharpshooter, formerly known as Hawkeye on the Russian servers. This class specializes in long-range attacks with a variety of perfect-zone abilities and one or two melee cooldowns to utilize when you need to get up close and perso

Like the Gunslinger, the Deadeye class has a weapon stance switch as its identity gauge and skill. Mastering Deadeye is all about knowing when to rotate abilities, manage buffs and debuffs , and keep your weapon stance changing to maximize cooldown reduction and timing .

Slowly stacks crit damage chance over attacks (other than mobile and basic attacks), attack power increases by 1% for 6 seconds (can stack up to 6 times), when it reaches max stack you have an extra 15% chance to c

For this Dungeon build, we rely on the Enhanced Weapon Engraving , which, at level 3, increases your damage when you change stances and improves crit rate. We'll go into more detail on Engravings below.

Much like the other Martial Artist classes, the Wardancer has some balanced builds between PvE and PvP, has a charging gauge for special abilities, and is fairly squishy. This guide covers an overview of everything you need to know about the class.

If you cast your mind back to New World at the end of last year, it was pretty clear that players were keen on a new MMO experience. Both games are published by Amazon, but the similarities end there. When you load up Lost Ark - for free, by the way - you are getting a refined product. The game has gone through several major updates, balance tweaks, and will even launch in NA/EU with DirectX 11 enabled. This isn’t a case of: "We’ve finished the Anime Game Money Guide, but not really, teehee." Lost Ark is a complete package. Bug-free, smooth, and balanced. The endgame grind pales in comparison to New World's 'innovative' Mutation system for its expeditions. There is a grind in Lost Ark, but the chances are, you'll enjoy it.

Despite these positives, Deadeye is not the easiest class to play . His kit relies heavily on back attacks and, despite being a ranged character, his main damage-dealing abilities do drop off at longer ranges. A recent buff has encouraged players to try out pistol and rifle builds, but the shotgun still reigns supreme for close-range burst damage.

Successful completion of a Guardian Raid will give your character valuable upgrade materials, jewelry with randomly-rolled Engravings, and a chance of obtaining some other goodies. Guardian Raids are a great source of jewelry for most players, and they can even drop ability stones you can facet for additional Engraving progress. Some Guardian Raids also drop Runes, powerful buffs to your core skills. General rewards are broken down below:

On the topic of grinding, there is always a temptation to blast through content as quickly as possible in MMOs. I did this in the closed beta of Lost Ark as well as during our closed preview session with the game. The code arrived in January, and I’ve spent the last month leveling a few different characters as well as playing through the endgame content with the heavily overpowered classes that Amazon let us have a go with. From experience, I can tell you that this whole process is a bit daunting. It takes 10-15 hours for a very speedy run through the game. Quite a lot of the content feels unnecessary after your first run. The game can take 20-30 hours, or more, if you take your time.
