Fatherhood Themes In Red Dead Redemption 2 And Death Stranding
With PlayStation Blog having shown off several great screenshots thus far via its Share of the Week posts, 2020’s Share of the Year includes some of the best images taken in video games, according to PlayStation. With captures shared from The Last of Us 2 , Death Stranding , and other major releases, PlayStation fans clearly put a lot of time into photo modes last y
I’ve obviously never played the PS4 version of Death Stranding , and I’m sure that I’m far from completing its 40-hour campaign, but nothing I’ve experienced so far stops me from claiming that PC is now the definitive place to play Death Stranding . The game is visually stunning, controls well, and runs immaculately; so far I’d say it was well worth the seven month wait. However, I still have a few hundred more orders to complete; one of which is my review of Death Stranding’s PC version which I’ll be carefully delivering to DualShockers readers later this mo
But nothing has compared to the streaming destruction that Postal 2 allowed the player to unleash. Being an open-world game where madness and mayhem reigned supreme, the game gifted you with the opportunity to run around marking your territory anytime and anywhere you wan
Still, this is a Kojima Production, and he's surprised us countless times in the past. It wouldn't be much of a shock if there turned out to be even more advanced methods of integrating urinating into the world of Death Stranding . It could end up being the villain portrayed by Mads Mikkelson's only weakness. Maybe the breach babies can be used as mods that alter your tiddling techniques, imbuing them with special abilities. After being advertised as a silly part of the game, pee might turn out to be the number one way of surviving in the remains of the United Sta
Cliff’s sections throughout Death Stranding revolve around him trying to take Lou back from Sam, as he is the biological father. The undying dedication that Cliff shows for his "BB" makes Sam witness an aspect of fatherhood that he was totally unfamiliar with. For the most part though, Cliff’s presence in the game is mainly to provide another angle in the BB story and to throw some extra twists that player may have not been anticipating. This is where it mainly differs with _ RDR 2’s _ st
Aside from the game’s stellar performance, Kojima Productions actually added new content into Death Stranding’s PC version in the form of new side quests in reference to the classic Valve franchises Half-Life and Portal . These quests become available around Episode 2, which is pretty early in Death Stranding’s campaign. These quests are definitely an exciting addition for PC players as they reward different cosmetics from and based upon the Valve franchises; for an example, look no further than the above screenshot that shows a Half-Life skinned vehicle. I’ve haven’t completed all of the Valve quests yet, but I can tell you that in the first mission I hauled a heavy Portal Companion Cube back to a delivery terminal and was rewarded with an awesome pair of Gordon Freeman glasses to make Sam look a little more scienti
Arguably the funniest image from the post comes courtesy of TheFourthFocus, depicting the standout section from Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding where players are avoiding the massive BT whales. It shows Sam on top of a building as one of the gigantic oily creatures looms above, and the picture would probably be a great representation of the moment without any special touches. However, TheFourthFocus’ spin on the piece really brings it together, as Sam can be seen making finger guns at the BT whale — showing no f
Another great image sees Dande_Lion55 having a quiet moment in Ghost of Tsushima ’s beautiful world . Jin Sakai can be seen resting with one of the game’s foxes, the delightful creatures that guide players to special charms. Instead of using the fox to get an item, though, the in-game photographer kneels by its side. With the light coming through the tree branches that rest above the pairing, and every detail on both the Fox’s fur and Jin’s outfit standing out, the eye-catching screenshot is amaz
On July 14, Hideo Kojima’s latest creative venture, Death Stranding , finally releases on PC . Like other PC players, I’ve waited since November to experience Death Stranding on PC, and now that I’ve had my hands on the game for about a week I’m happy to say that, so far, it was well worth the w
Want to teach an unruly citizen some manners? Spray them down and make them show you some respect. Need to distract some enemies while you regroup? Use your tinkling techniques to buy you some time to get out of harm's way. Started a fire that's gone a wee bit beyond your control? Luckily you can put that out using a little ingenuity and Deathstranding2World.Com your own personal fire extinguis
However, if you’ve already played the game, watched some gameplay online, or read Logan's wonderful review , then that isn’t news to you. In that case, you’re probably wondering how this PC port performs. Well, I’m happy to report that so far my experience has been amazing; it’s clear that the seven months since the game’s PS4 launch were very well-spent. My PC barely meets Death Stranding’s recommended settings, yet I’ve played around 10 hours so far, all at 60+ FPS without graphical errors, slowdown, or crashes. Meanwhile, the graphics are some of the best I’ve ever seen on my PC; certain environments and character models are hyper-realistic to the point where I feel like I am controlling a character in an HDR video. This isn’t too surprising considering it’s a port to PC, but it is worth mentioning. After all, we have seen some terrible PC ports in the p
